Shotlist: title and opening credit (0.11) man looking under red Vauxhall Cavalier bonnet, then setting off; car parked by busy road, man looking under bonnet. He leaves car and hails black taxi (2.07) Ext. Dominion cinema, people entering; C/u sign 'David Steadman Hypnotist one night only'; leaving the taxi, man rushes in (2.40) Int., audience take seats, applause as compere takes stage. He introduces hypnotist, the man who had car trouble.
