Description: 1930s footage of the Musselburgh fishing fleet at sea and at Stornoway and Mallaig, pre-war military activity around Oban and the Fisherrow Fisherman's Walk celebrations - also includes 1950s footage of storm damage at Musselburgh and yachting and regatta scenes.

Related to ref. 4494 STORNOWAY, being account of the annual voyage by Musselburgh herring fishing fleet to the west coast fishing grounds, leaving Musselburgh and travelling through the Forth and Clyde and Crinan canals to reach the west coast fishing grounds for the start of the season.
