Heist: Don’t Trust Anyone is a film about a taxi firm with a difference, a drama with a twist. It’s a film made by a group of young people with no previous film experience who jumped in at the deep end and took a chance with filmmaking. The filmmakers shared roles and responsibilities working on all aspects of the film from camera handling, directing, editing, narrative and scripting right through to creating original music- the result is an accomplished piece with sound storytelling. A young person’s take on the traditional Heist genre.

On the Move is a Moving Image Education project funded by Scottish Screen and Scottish Enterprise Glasgow and delivered by Urban Learning Space. The aim of On the Move is to use MIE to develop transferable skills such as communication, leadership and confidence within young learners and enable the content produced through workshop activity to be shared. Engaging with On the Move activity can help develop: Communication skills / Leadership skills / Problem solving skills / Increased Confidence / Media literacy / Increased cultural awareness. An important part of On the Move is sharing the content and Urban Learning Space has developed a digital access solution to this in the form of an online sharing hub.
