Shotlist: Souvenirs introduces three migrant women, who have settled in Scotland, and the objects they have brought from home and kept through their new lives. One picks a mask given by her friend, another talks about eye makeup – handmade by her mother. We also hear the story of a teddy bear. Each woman reveals her identity and sense of value through a personal relationship with the object. The film consists of series of still photographs of the objects as well as abstract images inspired by the stories.
