Shotlist:
Set in a future where electrical consumption has reached critical point and the power grid is about to collapse, the story follows Jill and Jack, a couple wrapped up in their own individual worlds. Jill (an artist struggling for recognition) is completely focused on creating a sculpture which embodies her hatred of technology. Conversely, Jack is immersed in media - watching TV, surfing the Web and playing computer games - refusing to acknowledge Jill’s cries for help.
BULB explores how difficult it can be to communicate despite the technology available to us. Jack has become a victim of this whilst Jill articulates it through her art.
