Description: A recording of The Scottish Ballet’s Peter Pan, performed at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow on 15 December 1989 (matinee performance). The lead roles are danced by Elspeth Shaw, Vincent Hantam, and Noriko Ohara. The ballet is in three acts.

Peter Pan is a ballet based on J M Barrie’s book of the same name, published in 1911. Peter Pan tells the tale of a young girl, Wendy, and her two brothers who are taken away to the magical island of Neverland by Peter Pan – a mischievous and adventurous boy who teaches them to fly. During their adventure they meet the lost boys, the pirate Captain Hook and the fairy Tinkerbell, as well as encountering mermaids, Native Americans and a crocodile that swallowed a clock.

This recording is the same performance as ref. 12335, but a different edit.
