Description: A demonstration of a rescue in the hills by Caithness Search and Rescue Party.

This film was edited for the BBC programme TALK OF THE NORTH in Aberdeen.

Shotlist: shots from when the rescue call is taken from the police station and the rescue itself - scenes from an office then of a Land Rover driving around in the countryside. Men in the back of the van consulting a map and using a radio. The men, wearing mountaineering clothing and carrying ropes then set off walking. They find the injured man, cover him in a blanket and radio their base. The man is put into a stretcher, wrapped up in more blankets and lowered down the mountain by the rescuers.
