Description: Features animated pieces of patterned cloth, sewing boxes, bobbins of thread and the content of sewing boxes - they all come together in the end to form a patchwork quilt.

One of two music-inspired film made in 1996 at the MacRobert, with pupils from several secondary schools in the Stirling area, and using techniques pioneered by Stirling-born avant garde animator Norman McLaren. Scottish Students on Screen (SSoS) is a one day festival designed to foster stronger links between education and the moving image industries. It is managed by BAFTA and funded by Scottish Screen, and has been running a innovative programme of events since 1999.
