Description:
Windfall is a short film, which has an essence that is emotive, spiritual and nostalgic. Thie film aims to create a narrative that is more implicit the explicit, thus on the surface there is no obvious story, no dialogue or clear narrative to dictate the film. I aim to involve the audience by using some images that each viewer can connect with. Rather than watch the film as a story or as a sequence of events, I want the film to wash over the audience and they can look beneath the surface, and unravel the film and look at its deeper meanings of nostalgia and regeneration. Therefore the film will be emotive, and with the viewers interaction, the audience will take something out of the film. Whether they leave with a sense of enlightenment or something much darker depends on the viewer and their experiences. - Robbie McKillop
