Shotlist: title, woman dozing on front of fire, book on her knee. Man looks in room briefly, appears to tamper with electricity (gas?) meter in hall. Puts blanket along door. Leaves in car. Woman still dozing. Man wining and dining another woman in restaurant. Woman in house tosses and turns in chair before collapsing on floor. C/u couple lighting cigarettes from candle in wine bottle, talking. Woman on floor manages to struggle out of door, retches in sink. Washes face. Finds mans bag in kitchen, opens witchcraft book inside to find passport with man's face and that of other woman. Dated December 1968. Also airline tickets inside passport. Cut to couple kissing. Woman in kitchen making spells, bubbling pots. Red light in background. Couple kissing. Woman at home looks out window as car draws up. She puts tray with two glasses and decanter on table. Man comes in and picks up note 'not feeling well, almost gassed myself. Gone to bed, M.' Man pours drink, collapses on floor. Woman looks over him, his body vanishes leaving empty clothes and a giant spider. Spider climbs up woman and bites her neck. She slumps against wall apparently dead. ecs.
