Description: Short fictional piece regarding a man called Jack Trevor, and the Whyte family. Jack takes the Whyte daughter out for a ride in his car.

Shotlist: Being the story of a joy ride. Our tale opens with Jack Trevor who has a free afternoon at his disposal (0.20) Jack, smoking a cigarette, opens his garden gates onto the road and then opens his garage gates. He starts his car up and drives out (1.16) The Whyte family on the other hand are at home gvs family sitting reading papers in the garden. Father yawns and smokes pipe. Father and daughter disagree over something written in the paper, Father angrily slamming his paper down. Shot of Jack driving into their driveway (2.24) Well, Jack is a careful driver anyway Jack arrives in the garden, greets the Whyte family and converses. Mother and daughter leave the two men to chat (4.19) Jack and the Whyte's daughter get into his car and go for a drive (4.36) Mother and Father read and eventually fall asleep in the sun (4.59) Mother awakes from a bad dream, falling off the deck chair and pleading with Father to find their daughter and Jack and stop them driving in case of an accident - the road outside their house, however, is found to be empty (5.31) Meanwhile ... Jack and the Whyte's daughter arrive home safely and greet the parents at the front door (5.58) Tea will be ready in a quarter of an hour the couple go for a romantic walk in the garden, the sequence ending with them kissing (6.47) ecs (6.51) 463ft
