Description: A young boy, initially unable to swim and bullied by other boys at his school, eventually beats the egotistical and cheating school swimming captain at the 'Ten Pennies', winning the friendship and admiration of others in the process.

Winner of the Marshall Quaich (for the best entry by a member of the S.A.A.C. Scottish Association of Amateur Cinematographers) in the Scottish Amateur Film Festival of 1968. Ten Best Gold Star 1969.

Group 5 were a group of independent amateur film-makers, working in the Aberdeenshire area in the 1950s - 1970s. They made non-fiction under the name of Clansman and fiction under the name of Group 5. Further material of Group 5 is held at the IAC (Institute of Amateur Cinematographers), Epsom, Surrey.
