Description: A compilation of various events, including a school sport's day, a trip to Aberfoyle, the Australian cricket team visiting Glasgow and shots of the Jury/Metro Goldwyn Ltd "trackless train".

The Trackless Train could be the publicity stunt referred to in Bioscope 22 Jan 1930 when the Paramount trackless train visited Glasgow twice the previous week to promote the Harold Lloyd talkie 'Welcome Danger' and on the Saturday when it had place of honour in students Charity Day procession. The Australian cricket team visited Glasgow in July 1921 at which time The Scottish Kinema Record noted that 'a topical had been taken'

Victoria Cross' -In the late Victorian era, Glasgow Town Council considered Byres Road an unsuitable name for the West End of the city and changed it to Victoria Road. The local people refused to use the name and eventually Victoria Road reverted to Byres Road. The only relic remaining is Victoria Crescent Road which runs off Byres Road. Glasgow West Conservation believe the church to be Belmont Parish Church in Great George St (until 1952) identified from the distinctive railings.
