A crowd quickly gathers, schoolboys, grocer, etc. (1.18); Boy fetches a policeman (1.26); More people arrive as the policeman looks at the man and declares him to be drunk. Together three men pick him up and start to carry him off (2.04); A girl passes. Stops at the scene (2.15); Put him down. Send for an ambulance. They lower him and she takes off her coat revealing an ARP uniform. She loosens his collar (2.38); Pulse? - Slow. Places hand on heart. Heart? Beat regular. Opens his eyes. Eyes? Pupils irregular. Examines ears and mouth. Ears or mouth? No bleeding but face flushed. Looks through his hair. Scalp injury? None obvious. Bends to listen to his breathing. Breathing? Snore like. Feels bones in limbs. Arms or legs? No sign of injury (3.37) Shot of crowd surrounding the kneeling girl as she half raises him (3.46); ARP ambulance arrives. The man is put onto a stretcher and carried into the ambulance. It drives away (4.05); All signs and symptons have been given. What was wrong with the patient? The End (4.14)
