Description: Amateur footage of events in and around Colombo, Ceylon [Sri Lanka], including a royal visit and a Scouts' jamboree.

Shotlist: Children waving union flags and the Duke of Gloucester’s car arriving. Men line up and are inspected by the Duke. The Duke lays a wreath at a war memorial. High shots showing Grenadier Guards band marching and crowds following behind. Shots of a clock tower and Lord Baden-Powell arriving at a Scouts' jamboree on Galle Face, Colombo.
