Credits (.16); shots of the Mavor and Coulson Arc Shearer preceded by captions indicating the various types of cutting operations which can be performed. Cutter is shown being driven into position prior to cutting. The ease with which the cutting jib can be moved into position is illustrated (3.36) Cutter is positioned for horizontal arc cut, the jib is adjusted, the cutting chain is started and the jib cuts into the seam. Cutter completes horizontal arc cut. Machine is cut off and prepared to make a shearing cut. Jib cuts straight into the seam. Cutter moves away (7.14)
