Description: Report from the newly named Clyde steamer Queen Mary II on the name change as she sails down the Clyde past her new namesake, the Cunard-owned liner Queen Mary. The steamer had previously been named the Queen Mary but Cunard had decided that they would like to name one of their liners just that so Williamson-Buchanan Ltd, the owners of the steamer, agreed to rename their ship, the Queen Mary II. Footage also contained of the new Queen Mary in the process of being built.
