Shotlist: Shots of the crowds waiting in the decorated high street. A pipe band of young girls marching down the street. Shots from an agricultural fair. Sheep dog trials. Shots of men preparing the sails in a small boat - boats are then launched into the harbour [Scrabster?]. Crowds on the harbour side. Shots of adults competing in distance running before the children run their race. A tug of war and a sack race. People watch as aeroplanes perform aerial acrobatics. Cars driving around obstacle course in a time trial then a go-kart race is shown. The Thurso Gala Queen arrives and is crowned, gives speech in front of a large crowd before being driven off in a carriage. A shooting and cycling competition before people Highland dancing, men toss a sack over a bar, tossing the caber, three legged race and other activities.
