Discusses:- short animated film about having a fantasy and the difficulty of dealing with the fantasy when it becomes a reality. Alone, gazing at picture of bird which to him represents colour and beauty in his otherwise drab surroundings. The man is distracted from gazing at picture when he finds a golden egg outside its door. Waits for it to hatch and then is disappointed, he feels let down and cheated as it's a rather normal looking bird ! Through his inability to deal with the situation he feels only resentment towards the bird and has to take drastic action...
