Discusses:- In making this documentary she was more interested in illustrating swearing rather than just getting people to explain it. The film raises questions about the power of swear words, the rhythm of language and accent, delivery of language, lyrical swear words, finding out where language is going and oral tradition. Warning to viewers that some may find it offensive due to the bad language. The professor who features in the film - an American, an 'old beatnik' who manages to talk about swearing without actually swearing! Gordon and Sandy were set up in Laurieston Castle in rather regal surroundings, they then drank port and talked, this was juxtaposed with the usual pub banter. Three day shoot.
