Discusses: Location shoot for the film in an actual carriage on the Bo'ness & Kinneil railway. Corridor scenes took a total of seven minutes filming. Carriage scenes built on a set with back projection for passing scenery - prefers this to chroma-key or video techniques. Characterisation: concentrated on people's reactions. Characters were all caricatures- they had to be in such a short film. Showing different strains of society and their reactions to sex. Suppressed language - because they are unable to communicate objections vocally they do it by movement, mannerisms for example. The only real line in the film is at the end when the guard speaks. Pace of film gets more and more pressured, gradually becomes hysteria. Based on British Advert which says 'So Relax'. Film is done in quite an adverty style, slightly satirical on BR and its claims. This story is like a modern folklore, exaggerated, is it true etc. Always interested in Celtic mythology and folklore. This story is like a modern urban folklore. Some of the film was filmed in Edinburgh's Corn Exchange. Entire roof was made of glass, had to black out, hard to light and hard to move about sets etc.
