Description: An amateur drama in which Pete and Jack dare their sceptical friend Tom to stay the night in a local haunted house - Tom accepts the challenge but ends up believing in ghosts after a supernatural experience.

Note from Mr Saberton from Dalziel Cine Club: "A young man takes a bet to stay in a supposedly haunted house for the night and finds that it really is haunted. The pub scenes were filmed at the Derby Inn, Bellshill. The house was in Union Street, Hamilton. It was owned by a local restaurateur who was using the upper floor as lodgings for his waiters. It really was as bad as it looks on the film and although it suited the story it was very unpleasant to film in due to the amount of dust that we disturbed when moving around. We used dry ice for the smoke effect on the stair and mounted the camera on a tripod with the legs horizontal to achieve the tracking effect. For the ghost we used the Pepper's ghost stage effect. None of us were happy with the ending outside the house which isn't very convincing and fails to match up to the mood generated in the middle section. We put a few anagrams of "The Ring" into the script such as "Grineth" house and "Reg Thin"."
