Description: Adventure drama in which a gang of crooks kidnaps a scientist and keeps him in a deserted farmhouse. A group of schoolboys on a camping holiday nearby manage to set him free and foil the crooks' evil plans!

gvs sunset over sea, waves on rocks at seashore - A GROUP 5 production circa 63 - title - credits - shots of red MG Magnette saloon car driving along country roads - gvs of Aberdeen Airport with BEA Vickers aeroplane landing and taxiing past terminal buildings - shots of passengers disembarking - two men meet, shake hands and walk to MG - they get in the car and a third man hiding in the back seat injects the passenger in the neck, and the car drives off, picking up another man on the way - the car speeds off along a main road and on to country roads (4.18) shots of group of boys jumping over stream in countryside - the car drives past them and nearly knocks them down - boys return to their campsite by the shore - group of boys leaves campsite to walk to a farm - they knock on the door, but no one answers - they search round the farm buildings and see the kidnapped man slumped in an outbuilding - one of the crooks appears and chases them away - the boys realise something's wrong and hide behind a wall, where they see the kidnapped man being brought out of the outbuilding (8.34) the crooks take the man and a briefcase along a cliff-top by the sea and the boys follow - the kidnapped man falls, one of the crooks slips and drops a package into the sea - he hangs from the cliff-face and the other two pull him back up as the boys watch - the crooks go back to the kidnapped man and carry him away (11.42) two of the boys run back to the campsite to tell their friends what has happened - the boys all go down to the rocks where the package fell into the water - three of the boys put on diving masks and dive into the water - one finds the package and brings it back to the surface - they unwrap it to find a piece of electronic apparatus - the crooks appear and knock out two of the boys, and the others escape (16.21) the boys watch in hiding at the farm as the crooks keep watch over the kidnapped man and the other boys, while discussing sets of plans - the boys crawl through woods and approach the farm and knock out one of the crooks - the crooks take two of the boys away from the farm and the other boys take the unconscious crook into an outbuilding and free the other boys and the kidnapped man - the crooks leave the two boys on the rocks, weighted down with stones, and they struggle to break free as the waves come in - the other boys race down to the rocks, but one twists his ankle - the others rescue their friends and they all swim back to shore (23.52) two of the boys stop a passing car - the boys watch from a cliff as the crooks load a crate and the electronic devices on to a rowing boat - two of the boys climb into the boat and discover the devices, but have to flee as the devices detonate and the boat blows up - they swim away as flames cross the water and threaten to engulf them - the other boys come to their rescue and pull them away from the flames on to the shore - some of the boys chase the crook along the beach - the third crook returns to the farm where he is apprehended - the crook on the beach kidnaps one of the boys at gunpoint and the others chase after them along steep cliff-top - the crook takes the boy to a quarry site, knocks him down and runs off - the other boys chase after him, but he falls into the water and drowns, leaving a sheet of plans floating on the surface - The End (34.01)
