Notes from ‘Way it Was’ programme interview with Robert Robertson, Director of the Dundee Repertory theatre in the 1970s and 1980s: "Dundee Repertory Theatre existed since December 1939, when it was housed in a converted Protestant church – a purpose built building was constructed in 1982. Alan Dunsmore was journalist for The People’s Journal (‘Ralph Brown’ was his real name)
