Amateur whodunnit film about a mysterious death in the dark in the Edinburgh Cine Society's cinema, and the subsequent solving of the case.
Highly commended in 1966 'Top Eight'.

Shotlist: Int. Edinburgh Cine Society, man unlocking doors. Ext. brief view Fettes Row. Int. man selling tickets from hole in wall. Int. small cinema, people seated, more come in. Man lights woman's cigarette, lights dim and curtains open. Edinburgh Cine Society. Lights come up. People rise and leave cinema. Woman taps man on shoulder and he slumps over, apparantly dead. Title. People run outside to steps and man blows whistle. Doctor/policeman enters and checks man's neck - mark on back of it. Photographer takes picture of crime scene. Interviews of ECS members, including woman who asked for a cigarette light. C/u policemen, one smoking a pipe. Policeman in small cinema checking crime scene. He talks to everybody in the room, seated in their original positions. Occasional view projectionist as he puts blowpipe? in his inner pocket and leaves projection box. He is stopped by policemen and manhandled away. C/u small dart in palm. View from overhead of blow pipe, bottle of poison and small dart on table. The End.
