Footage inside the Fullwood Foundry, Hamilton as metal mouldings are made - presumably making the new waterwheel as seen in the following part of the film. A new waterwheel is inaugurated at Newbattle Abbey by Magnus Magnusson.
Regarding the section on Newbattle Abbey: A new water wheel was one item required when restoring the New Abbey Meal Mill ready for handing over by the owner Mr. Charles Stewart to the 'Ancient Monuments' in the Architectural Heritage Year.
