Shotlist: A day special school administered by the Scottish Council for Spastics, Westerlea uses a wide range of therapies to help children aged from 3 to 18 years to overcome their disabilities, some resulting from conditions such as cerebral palsy. A large team of highly qualified staff work together to provide a comprehensive educational programme for every child in the school. The team consists of specially trained teachers, an educational psychologist, physiotherapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, social work, nursing and care staff. The video illustrates the school's approach to the children’s education.
