Unveiling ceremony at Paisley Cross of War Memorial to the dead of the Great War.
Crowd of 20,000 largest ever seen for an event in Paisley. Memorial designed by Robert Lorimer, with the bronze group executed by Mrs Meredith Williams. The building in the background advertising Royal Animated Pictures later became the Glen Cinema.
Digitisation funded by British Film Institute 'Unlocking Film Heritage', awarding funds from the National Lottery.
