A woman sitting feeding the pigeons sitting next to a sleeping man on a park bench. The woman has to startle the man awake by bursting a paper bag in order to free her handbag.
The full story of EXERCISE MOVIE was published in Amateur Movie Maker August September 1958. Three short films were made by a beginner, an experienced amateur and a professional. Each was given the same story synopsis, the same camera (a GB Bell Howell 'Autoload') and 100ft of 16mm Kodak Plus X film. Working independently, each movie-maker shot his own version of the story in the same location with the same girl in the leading part.
