Description: Trawlers unload their catch at Aberdeen harbour and the fish auction gets underway.

Shotlist: Credits (.14) various shots of trawlers in and approaching Aberdeen harbour. Trawler comes alongside quay, ties up and crew begin to unload catch. Shots of baskets of fish being transferred to market shed, by winch and pulley systems (3.01) in shed, fish graded by size and quality, checked for rejects (4.35) crew gut and sort fish (5.06) tally kept of weight (6.06) auction begins. Shot of the auctioneer and buyers surrounded by crew as fish bargains struck. Radio telephones used to link office and buyer (7.14) shots of fish boxes being loaded onto lorries and transported curing plants. Quayside cleaned up, hosed down. General shots of harbour.
