Description: The launching of the liner "The Queen Mary" at John Brown's shipyard and footage of the launch of Jack MacFarlane's motor cruiser on the Clyde.

It is believed that this was filmed by Jack MacFarlane and a son of the director of John Brown’s shipyard. Two cameras seem to have been used. Jack MacFarlane was Chairman of MacFarlane Lang's Biscuits.
