Description: Film documenting strikes in the early 1960s, including the mill strike; Apprentices' strike; Rolls Royce and the Pressed Steel company. Willie Gallacher appears during the Apprentices' strike footage, as an elderly man. Also shots of the arrival of Krushchev's aircraft in Scotland.

[The late William McQuilken was Paisley District Secretary of the AEU and an active member of the Communist Party]. [See also refs. 2506, 2508].
