Description: Story about a young man leaving Glasgow University and taking a train to Dumfries to rejoin his fiancee. He takes a job with Dickson's Popular Tours to earn the money for a ring, taking a tour bus to Sweetheart Abbey and viewpoints in the area. He hopes to claim a reward offered for an escaped criminal through the local newspaper, but when the "hero" discovers the convict is a friend of his fiancee's father he helps him to escape. General views of Dumfries and New Abbey village.
