Shotlist: Filmmaker's synopsis:

A visit was made to Yawata Primary School, Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, as an exchange of pictures with Hillhead Primary School, Glasgow, Scotland, was organised. Yawata Primary started teaching English, following Japan’s new school curriculum, but, unlike other schools, it also started teaching its children a rather forgotten local folk tune. At this school, internationalisation and localisation are going hand in hand.
