A Midsummer Night's Dream is based on the comedy written by William Shakespeare in 1595/1596.
Robert Cohan, who was an influential figure in the development of modern dance in Britain, was commissioned by The Scottish Ballet to create A Midsummer Night's Dream and it was his first choreography for a classically trained company.
