Description: Two recordings of Ursprung performed by The Scottish Ballet at the King's Theatre in Edinburgh and the Theatre Royal in Glasgow in 1979. The performance in Glasgow took place on 9 March 1979.

Ursprung ('The Source') is a contemporary work choreographed by Royston Muldoon, and was performed alongside The Water's Edge and Such Sweet Thunder as part of the Company's 10th anniversary celebrations.

The ballet has four movements: The Source, Preparation, Consummation, Ritual
