This film was submitted to the What Scotland Means To Me film competition in 2018 to celebrate the Year of Young People. The competition called out for films made by children and young people under the age of 19 years living in Scotland to create a one-minute film in response to the title. As a result, films were submitted in different genres and created using various types of technology available in 2018, including mobile phones, tablets, DSLR cameras and drones. Most films are captured in landscape mode, but some are filmed vertically or rotate between the two. This film is from the shortlisted 12 years and under age category of the competition and is reflective of Scotland in 2018 from the voices of children.
