"On the 30th of August we want to turn Glasgow City Centre into a hub of information, stalls, outreach and engagement for independence. We want to build a huge atmosphere in the city, register people to vote, debate and discuss with the thousands of shoppers and passers by and mobilise a big Yes victory in the city.The plan: Meet 12 noon at the top of Buchanan Street by the steps. After a short photo shoot we will divide into groups to join gazebos with speaker systems on:- Argyle St - Sauchiehall St - Buchanan St. These gazebos will have thousands of leaflets, posters and registration forms. Each will have a speaker system to promote the benefits of Independence and Another Scotland is Possible banners." [event publicity]
