Description: A recording of stage rehearsals for Othello and Troy Game by Scottish Ballet, recorded at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow. [The rehearsal contains notes and doesn't run straight through]

The turn around (set change) and re-light processes are shown in between the two rehearsals. The music is performed on piano for Othello, and through a tape for Troy Game.

The original tape text read 'The Scottish Ballet "Triple Bill" Autumn '93' but the tape contains Othello and Troy Game only.

Troy Game, choreographed by Robert North, pokes fun at the preening macho male through devastatingly demanding choreography for eight men. North sets the piece to rhythmic batucada percussion music, a traditional form of accompaniment from Brazil. (STA SB 11/33c)
