Considered as one of the foremost exponents of the narrative ballet, Peter Darrell adapted Shakespeare’s classic tragedy into a powerful and dramatic one-act ballet. Iago, the key figure who allows tragic misunderstandings to flourish, brings about the story’s terrible conclusion. (STA SB Box 16/1b)
