Black and white footage of Rosina Bonsu working in a rehearsal studio, using a chair as a prop. Wearing a suit, Rosina dances to Billie Holiday's 'Until the Real Thing Comes Along', Nina Simone's 'Everything Must Change' and Joan Armatrading's 'I Need You'.
There are two recordings of this piece, the second time with a black curtain lowered across the black wall.
Rosina Bonsu was the Artistic Director of Scottish Ballet's outreach company Steps Out' from 1984 - 1987, running a series of classes and creative workshops. She also worked with Renfrewshire Dance Project and as a freelancer.
The tape cover reads 'Rosina Bosnu for Greg Nash'. Greg Nash is a dancer, who produced works in Scotland during the 1980s.
