Shotlist: The Pageant of Ayrshire, held at Dam Park in Ayr from 16 - 23 June, 1934 - filmed from a low position at the front of the banks of seats. The pageant featured six episodes and lasted over two hours. Extracts from these episodes are featured in this footage. The six episodes were: King Coilus and his Court; the Battle of Largs; Sir William Wallace; King Robert the Bruce; the Covenanters; Robert Burns. Includes footage of crowds queuing outside the park and of the performers' tents behind the scenes.
