Description: During the summer of 1919 a Peace Pageant was held in the Borders town of Galashiels, with a parade, with a pig on a cart displaying the sign ”German Swine”, wreath laying, fancy dress and fun sports in the Park.

The Provost alights from the first carriage and places a wreath at the base of a memorial (out of shot). bugler plays.
