Description: The SCWS (Scottish Co-operative Wholesale Society Ltd) Bladnoch Creamery where 'Bluebell' and 'Snowdrop' margarine and 'Whitecrest' cooking fats are produced and packaged.

Note from "The British Co-operative Movement Film Catalogue" compiled and edited by Alan Burton 1997:- "The Bladnoch creamery, Wigtownshire, was established in 1899. The chief importance of the creamery was its margarine industry, which expanded ten-fold during the Great War, due to restrictions on the supply of butter".
