Description: A workers' outing from the Nobel Explosives Factory at Ardeer - a day trip to Rothesay on board the paddle steamer "King Edward".

Shotlist: Credits (.10); Shot of steamer "King Edward" (.20); Shots of the "Duchess of Argyll" approaching pier head on (.35); General shots of quayside as people embark on steamer. "Duchess of Argyll" also appears lying at the Albert Pier in the shot looking east along the pier.
