A social worker talks to his mother while a medical psychologist tests him (1.58) a Probation Officer collects the second boy from his home. They drive away in a car. Street scenes and gvs of the journey (5.50) They arrive at an approved school and the boy is shown around (7.05) shots in various classrooms and workshops. Boys working in the fields and felling trees (9.26) general shots of backcourts, children in the streets, etc. general street scenes (11.10) shots of Boys' Brigade, cycling, country dancing. Children in the street, including shots of them playing - "sword fighting" etc. Shots of boys doing woodwork, rugby and dancing (13.45)
