[Notes from football historian Bob Crampsey: "This is a fine and rare example of a Scottish Cup Tie, normally only internationals and cup finals reached the screen. For connoisseurs of the rare, Rangers play in their change strip, the famous "butcher's apron" strip. Famous players appear fleetingly, goalkeeper Jerry Dawson and Dougie Gray of Rangers while Queens, newly-promoted to Division One fight gallantly and with partial success".
