'Comedy film - father, requiring peaceful evening at home becomes pestered by various means and ends up going back to wrk for some peace and quiet... Another domestic comedy filmed in the clubrooms made up to look like a living room. Well filmed technically, with a very steady camera and excellent lighting, but as in all films of this age the editing is slow and many shots are held too long. It is also easy to guess the end of the film. In spite of this, I think the film could well be shown again: if someone could put on a sound track of music and effects, then it could be an enjoyable "period piece" comedy.
Made in 1949 (proved by references in old issues of Cine Chat) No cast list, so we do not know who our 1949 stars are.'
