Description: Short film designed to accompany the song "The Spinning Wheel" by Delia Murphy. It depicts a young woman escaping her grandmother's croft to be with her lover.

Awards won: Specially commended by Amateur Cine World , Scottish Amateur Film Festival 1952 prize winner, Highly Commended at the 1951 SAAC Festival and won the Lizars Trophy at the Edinburgh Cine Society 1951 competition.

Made to accompany an audio recording of "The Spinning Wheel", a song by Delia Murphy. Accompanying sound also preserved at the National Library of Scotland Moving Image and Sound Collections..
